Women have been a very positive influence on my life and I wanted to honour the nurturing spirit in this piece sculpted from laminated totara.
This piece was a chance to mimic the work of Henry Moore, my favourite artist and sculpture. I have always enjoyed his clean lines and his finest works are incredibly simple in their form.
